Something's in the air Caught us unaware Cloudy skies turned blue 21st of June Now we're feeling fine After all this time Summer breeze came through Love, a flower bloomed Yeah it has been a while since summer's come around To think our hearts revolve on a merry-go-round There's nothing that a little summer weather couldn't do There's nothing that a little summer weather could not improve When the rays shine down on this old town What once was lost has now been found With that summer weather, our love is new How did we let go? Of the love we know Snow was on the ground Winter slowed us down Now the skies are blue And my heart is true Summer breeze came through Love, a flower bloomed If we let our love burn like the summer sun Only God knows what our lives will soon become There's nothing that a little summer weather couldn't do There's nothing that a little summer weather could not improve When the rays shine down on this old town What once was lost has now been found With that summer weather, our love is new

Marathon 03:18
You never make it easy to connect to you You say that you're trying, I ain't buying that your words are true You're funny, oh honey, but this game's been played You know now that I'm here to stay It feels like I'm Running a marathon just to get to you Climbing a mountaintop just to see things through Sailing a battleship 'cross the ocean blue Reaching with open arms you can hold onto Give me one more night, I'll take you out to see the moon You say that I'm crazy, don't I know that 12 'o clock is noon? I don't wanna fight, you know you're not right, and the stars will shine for you Only if you want them to Baby baby baby please Give your love to me Let me know you feel the same Every time I wonder why You can constantly deny Every fault of yours I claim Let me know, is it yes or no?

True Colors 03:21
Black and blue, violet eyes Striking glance, full of lies Imitate, intimidate To speak a word would be unwise But how could I avoid temptation of your guise? How could I initiate a compromise? I wanna know who you are Won't you show yourself to me? Beneath the bruises and scars Let me in so I can see Your true colors inside Your true colors don't hide Your true colors reveal your heart to me Powdered face, a touch of rouge Pinup hair, expensive jewels Feline eyes, a glass of wine Jet black nails, no ring in sight How could I know that you're constantly reviled When your technicolor silhouette runs wild? Satin dress, silky gloves I can't help, but fall in love A second glance I've been allowed I've been pulled under your spell Care to share a bit about your history? Enlighten me or will it remain mystery?

Monopoly 03:04
I was aiming for Boardwalk I'd even settle for Park Place But now I've found that I'm destined to reside in Mediterranean I know it's just 'round the corner But it's not easy to go there Even if I roll the dice and take a chance, the success never lasts It's like I'm playing Monopoly But I keep rolling the twos and threes Every player's ahead, I'm only paying the rent Feels like I'm playing Monopoly Every time I get doubles I go directly to jail Suddenly my luck runs out without a doubt and payment's my way out Can't get a ticket to leave town Because I've mortgaged the railroads Should I say I can't relax my income tax has run me off the tracks It's like I'm playing Monopoly But all I have are utilities Every turn that I get, I don't have a color set Feels like I'm playing Monopoly The beauty contest let me down I received second prize Elected chairman of the board I did it all with bribes The only thing that keeps me sane is knowing that playing the game Are others who are just like me struggling with their properties It's like I'm playing Monopoly But there's nothing in free parking Official rules of the game, with Parker Brothers to blame It's like I'm playing Monopoly There is no sense of community Every card that I take, I wonder if this is fate It's like I'm playing Monopoly I'm being forced into bankruptcy My so-called friends are to blame, I'm at a loss for their gain Why am I playing Monopoly? I'll flip the board almost certainly What a terrible game, it always ends the same Feels like I'm playing Monopoly

It may seem insignificant But I like having you around My feelings may seem primitive But with you I've got my head in the clouds You make me feel like I've been dealt A winning hand, it makes me shout I'm on top of the world with you And I don't feel like going down All the stars are spinning 'round I'm on top of the world with you We're flying high above the clouds Our perfect paradise is found When I was a child every tale told of love I was so beguiled, I always felt unworthy of But then you stepped into my life You took my hand, reset my sight Living in a dream Limitless and free Where do we go now? Wherever we allow

Superhuman 02:36
Another story about a girl, the one who kept me waiting One night I took her around my world, and then she called me baby I understand that this is dumb, she wasn't meant for anyone She told me I can take the lead, so I took her driving We stopped in Little Italy, and then upon arriving She looked at me and then was gone, she wasn't meant for anyone I still wonder where she came from She must be more than human She's superhuman, superhuman She must've come from outer space Superhuman, superhuman She's above the human race All my effort was a waste I looked for her all through the night, but I had no fortune She kept evading my eyesight, I was blind to her location Although it sounds like this was fun, it wasn't fun for anyone We threw a party just to find where she may have gotten We wasted hours and hours of life, gone but not forgotten She never wanted to be seen, she escaped the galaxy And if she ever comes back Down to earth from her home planet Watch your back, she's quick to vanish Save yourself from certain damage

There's a village with an old man Several hundred miles from here Always leaves his front door open For the creatures who appear Everyday he sits beside them Listens to their every qualm Never loses his momentum As he listens to their song Secretly he keeps a record Of the struggles they reveal Every night he shuffles through them With a gentle-handed feel And he sips his cup of coffee For some momentary strength To embolden his empathy And enable to erase The old man sighed and wiped his sweaty brow He closed his eyes, though he tried to disallow His troubled mind was filled with every trial And by design, he helped them reconcile In the morning when he wakes up There's a crowd within his house So he tiptoes down the hallway Quiet as a field mouse And a floorboard creaks below him Making his heart skip a beat Soon appears a line before him As they bow down at his feet He softly smiles and presents an open palm Once in a while, he gives a subtle nod One by one, examines their lifestyle And by design, he helps them reconcile As he looks over the valley Several hundred feet below He can't help but ask the question Why his heart is filled with woe "What would happen if I left them With a crassly worded note Of my sudden resignation And a worldly anecdote?" "If only you'd foresee the error of your ways Instead of always looking back Then maybe you'd kindly improve your sorry lives And keep yourself on track" The old man shook his head now As he wandered back inside And he wiped his sweaty eyebrow While he poured a glass of wine And he wrinkled up the paper That contained his heady claims And he threw it in the fire As he stoked the steady flames So he carried on the next day With a sedentary style As he listened to the creatures Who would walk a thousand miles To hear his words of guidance And see his brimming smile As he listened to their troubles And he helped them reconcile

Stand together, live together Everybody make it better We've gotta push to make a change Get together, work together In the sun or cloudy weather Only you can make the change We can make the world a better place For every creed, religion, sex and race Keep believing if you're feeling down Together we can turn this all around I, I, I, I, I, I, I, I thought you should know That we should not be satisfied with the status quo Though they push and shove and whine and moan we will not lose hope Someday soon we'll make this house our home, let the record show Though you read it, doesn't mean it Check your sources before believing Even history can change Call your mother, call your father Call your sisters and your brothers Only you can make a change Everyone abuse your right to vote Voting helps you maximize your hope Keep believing if you're feeling beat Get up, go out, speak out, move your feet

Recluse 02:50
Tell me there is something out there Tell me there is something more to this Does the universe lead somewhere Are we living in a black abyss I can't hear what you might say For my ship is lost in space The connection's broken too And I'm running out of food My mind plays tricks on me The air is hard to breathe But my hope is not yet gone All the time I see the sun Tell me there is something out there Tell me there is something more to this Does the universe lead somewhere Do we live in total blackness Passing Jupiter and Mars There's a pain within my heart The loneliness ensues I can't bring myself to move In this solitary state I am left to contemplate How my life has left me here To float through stars and spheres Tell me there is something out there Tell me there is something more to this Does the universe lead somewhere Am I floating in a black abyss Now my time is running out Due to famine and a drought Soon enough I'll fade away For my body's atrophied Has my praying been no use I can't die as a recluse Father God I beg of thee That your kingdom I may see

Yeah the bass is shaking the walls of my studio flat I hear the reggae music like Kingston's right out back Yeah the one drop hits home while I drink wine with my cat And the plaster's falling from the ceiling how 'bout that? I sit and watch the tele but can't hear a thing Over bottle's clanking and the music cranking in the unit beside me And my cat is napping on my lap and I'm yawning Should a 25 year old life be so boring? There's no use in knocking it's been done before. No, I'm not invited to the party next door. I could show up at their door with some PBR With some wine, some whisky, vodka, Cuban cigars They'd say, "hell no, go downtown to a bar" So, I'd sit alone and gaze up at the stars There's no use in knocking it's been done before No, I'm not invited to the party next door. I wonder if they've ever heard Redemption Song Would they let me try again to right my wrongs? You see the last time I was granted access to Their late night party I began to act a fool I poured my red wine on white carpet, ate every last breadstick, my chips I double-dipped. And that's just at the start. I emptied out the bar, broke his new air guitar, pissed in some mason jars I wailed on butt trumpet I yelled at the goldfish, spat in their favorite dish, scared off the little kids And now for the big finish I threw some punches at the wall to give ourselves a bigger hall and make our small apartments one medium sized apartment But I must've lost my bearings for the hole I made was staring right into the shower stall of some old lady who happened to be our landlord Then I passed out on the red wine, piss-stained carpet in a pile of half-eaten chips and I woke up the next morning on my futon with my cat, and no hole in my wall and that is why I'm not invited to the party next door No, I'm not invited to the party next door I'm not invited to the party next door No, I'm not invited to the party next door

Love song Thought I'd write you a love song But my words tend to go wrong No my lyrics are not strong Maybe If you stay with me baby We'll be biscuits and gravy We're like raccoons and rabies I thought I could come up with some decent lines Just a couple of similes and stellar rhymes But this song is just randomly paired up words Fresh cheese curds It's not cute That my vocab is acute Observation is astute Might as well go mute Each verse Seemingly gets worse It's as if I have been cursed Somebody call me a hearse (you're a hearse) I thought I could come up with some decent lines Just a couple of similes and stellar rhymes But this song is just randomly paired up words Fresh cheese curds Clearly I am missing you dearly Want to hold you securely You're the Mac to my PC No sense What a pile of nonsense Patrick Stump to my Pete Wentz It is time that I end this

I remember talking in class Coming up with nicknames meant to last I remember spending most days With a Queasy Bake Oven in the summer haze You would always smile and say "Biff, you gonna come over and play?" Though it's only elementary I have never forgotten what a friend you made I have never forgotten what a friend you made Though with years we went our own ways We grew apart chasing down our separate dreams You were never alone in this world You could always come a-calling when you had to chill There's a million reasons why i wish we hadn't grown up We could still be baking cookies on a single light bulb Seems our friendship went astray but not the memory I have never forgotten what a friend you made I have never forgotten what a friend you made Did you have to go so soon? There's a space you left behind You were one of a special kind Why'd you have to go so soon? We'll be here in the meantime Waiting to see you on the other side Waiting to see you on the other side Waiting to see you on the other side

There's a wind outside my window growing louder, a crescendo It's a momentary disco before I pass out on my pillow And I don't know why I love it but I do No, I don't know why I love it but I do Settle back into the evening with a peaceful easy feeling Yeah, my mind could use some healing as I look up at the ceiling And I don't know how to face it but I do I just don't know if I want to but I do If I could surrender to sleep My mind would have a moment of ease Not another bad memory A probable improbable dream I've lost count of my sheep, the dark begins to creep Sanity I try to keep, I can't stop I'm in too deep I don't know how to end this but I do No, I don't know how to end this but I do Crawling in my mind the thought of situations that have gone wrong All those times I missed my chances floating by in passing glances And I wish that I could go back but I knew At the time I should've tried to follow through If I could surrender to sleep My mind would have a moment of ease Not another bad memory A probable improbable dream If I could surrender to sleep My mind would have a moment of ease Not another sad memory A probable improbable dream
